To the best of my knowledge, there's never been a security break into PayPal's system.

Very popular and it does what it's supposed to.

I've heard that PayPay rips people off by stealing their money and giving them the run around when they ask W T F happend.

Stear clear and use Money Orders. :yep:

I second TLAM's remark. I know two such cases. Be clever, don't use the internet for any kind of transfer of financial or sensitive data. That's as if a sub is pinging away.

That was the case in the beginning. They have been bought out since then and it's well run. My wife and I must have close to one hundred transactions and have never had a problem.
The problems you heard of are probably more then two years old and aren't relevant to the present organization.

I second that, Bradclark1, I guess they are better now than a few years ago.

Well, depends what you are using their sevices for. Ask ED Eagle Dynamics, developers of Lock on. I think they got some serious problems with PayPal when they sold Flaming Cliffs online. Private transactions might be good though. But some people report frozen accounts and some really hard times to get account and money back again. Myself, I haven't used them.
