Should I install the 1.4b patch??

I see a lot of scrutinee and problems regarding the 1.4b patch. Would I be better off leaving it as is before this patch?

There´s no good reason not to use 1.4b, it´s actually quite good. Earlier versions have even more problems, like the mute sonar guy in 1.3.

Most of the later mods are based on users having the 1.4b patch.

How do I know which mods are best for me? Or can they all be loaded?

The only patch I can find is the 1.4 DVD version. How do I get the 1.4b?

There is only a 1.4b. It is just released for different versions of "SKU's" I believe they are called. Like the DVD EMEA is for Europe Middle East version, DVD US is for ... you guess it. And there's maybe one for the downloadable Direct2drive version, too. So get the one that fits your version, don't worry about which 1.4b you get because there is no 1.4 or 1.4c or 1.4a. All patches are 1.4b.

And a friendly reminder that when you install the 1.4b patch, it will say that it's the 1.3 patch. Ignore the silly mistake. :yep:

Try useing your AA guns before 1.4 especially lateer in the war.
