I was just wondering if this site is mirrored in such a way, so that if electricity drops in Houston for a while, we can still acquire updated page views. I think Neal lives there. Thanks.

I doubt the servers are in Texas

The main servers (2) are at the EV1 datacenter in ....Houston (naturally). I think they will be ok, we may see some downtime if there are repeated electrical outages but I think with Rita passing north of H-town, there will be no effect.

Forget the servers I'm more concerned about the USS Cavalla down in Galvston.

Isn't it seaworth? Isn't it able to move away and submerge? :D
Im sure the datacenter has diesel fueled backup generators.

Who thought that Subsim.com couldn't stand a storm & a splash?
The datacenter closed hatches and switched from diesel to batteries.
Piece of cake!
:D
That isn't a chimney (stack) on top of Neals house, it's a Snorkel!
