Slightly wrong with the discription :shifty:
This was originally called "Yastreb" then renamed to Tartarstan and completed in 2002. It also has two sister ships called Albtross and Burevestnik both of which are still under construction

its british probly top of a trafalgar of swiftsure SSN definatly not a vangaurd class and its not a dreadnaught class valiant warspite or concquorer classes got to be either one of the two.
id say a trafalgar class cause of the indent it has (the square sorta cut out look in a bigger picture)
Kapitan
09-13-05, 03:19 PM
infact yes it is a trafalgar as i walked out just a min ago to get my cup of tea i spotted something similar (my walls full of pics of subs)
i noticed the same masts and same style of sail so its got to be a trafalgar and if its worth a shot i say it could be HMS torbay at a wild and distant guess
Dang!
I thought I had you there!!
HMS Triumph
Ok...see if you can guess this one:

a little clue perhapse its definatly not a russian or russian built boat cause the scope has a pattern on it could be an upholder class but i dont know
definatly nor russian or russian built there scopes are not made like that
a clue please
Ok
The building contract for this sub was signed in December 1979, and was actually launched before the lead boat of the class.
I believe there are four boats in this class, and not so long ago, she was open to members of the public in Vlootdagen.
And she's currently under the command of a J.van Zanten.
Any ideas?
Ok...one last hint.
