Work has begun on the long awaited expansion pack to Silent Hunter III.

The expansion pack will focus on a new direction for the game. Basing itself on your last played mission, you will take command of your Uboat which is trapped in a time portal, and transported to the early age of British conquest of the 18th Century.

Players will find themselves battling Lord Nelsons Victory, and Captain Cooks Endevour among other ships of the line. Players will have to use cunning and inginuity to create new torpedoes and other weapons to subsitute their exhasted stockpile of 20th Century weapons from materials found at the time.

Set AHEAD FLANK! for this new expansion pack, Silent Hunter III: Age of Silk and Sail, due for release Fall 2006!

You help them get work in post war germany, get dates with girls and start a family, build houses, make friends etc. The game will feature 3rd person perspectives and fully 3D environments.

I won't be satisfied unless there are flashbacks, sims screaming "ALAARM!" in their sleep, and so on.

Yeah 'Das Sims: Uboatwaffe (post war)', would be a top 10 seller for ubisoft! A Christmas release is planned no doubt.

According to me: No expansion pack, no SH 4...
At least not in the foreseeable future.
