Hi,
Just a quickie - magnetic triggers are mainly used when the torp is expected to go under the ship`s keel for max damage. Also they have the advantage of ability to explode at angles different than approx. 90 deg. What happens if the torp with magnetic trigger is set for depth less than ship`s draft and hits the hull ? Does the magnetic behave like Impact then - i.e. the torp is detonated based on impact or magnetic impulse (it gest close the ship anyway so the magnetic field should intesify) ? If it behaves like Impact, then hitting at steep angle, it may bounce off, right ?
Is it less likely to bounce off at steep angle than Impact torp ?
Would be grateful for clarification
