Ships sunk but no credit?

Suddenly I have experienced alot of this.

I noticed the last time it happened I was in external camera mode and watching the torps inbound on a C2.

Is that why?

Happened to me also. First campaign after installing RUB/Ops. If I recall correctly it was 1940/41 in the irish sea. Lots of single merchant traffic. I sunk my first 2 lone merchants credited ok/map displayed the sunk ship icon. 3rd lone merchant went down no icon/no credit. 4th lone merchant same thing. 5th merchant icon/credit as normal.
Hasn't happened since, wrote it off as a bug of some sort. :hmm:

Yes it is a bug and trust me you will not get credit for ships you don't sink personally.... what i mean is it has to be sunk by your ships torps, or guns to be of credit to you in game. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v695/flyingdane/thgen1211.gif

I've had a few ships go down and show no icon on the map but still give me credit for it. I also came across a C2 half underwater, and sank it with the deck gun and got credit for that too.

Yep, experienced that as well.
