Question from a newb

I have been readin about SHIII and have just ordered a copy as it seems a great game. However I noticed that there were no AI subs included in the game. Ive also heard conflicting information that they may be included in a future add on or mod. Can anyone enlighten me on the facts?

first, yes, a mod is needed to created friendly cruise harbor ...


I beleive a mod is in preparation for allowing those AI ships to really act as manned boats .... like firing at targets .....

Hi,

There are mods that create the friendly harbor traffic. They are the Harbor Traffic 1.44 and 1.45. I believe you need to have both installed. Also there is a AI u-boat mod. This mod adds crewmen to the watch tower of the U-boats created in the harbor traffic mods. I don't believe they do anything but they sure add to the look. :yep:

Cheers, is there any news on a mod that will allow group attacks on convoys etc with thelp of allied subs?

Also is there any other mods u recommend installing that are not listed on the SH3 website?
