Greetings All,

I tried to search if this is bug or just one of those random things attributed to excess mods. Possibly addressed already and I do apologize if this irks someone out there.

Situation (brief) Near DG 65 I find a nice convoy get lucky and nail three T2 tankers.

About 3 km later and escorts steaming NE away from me I set up waypoints to run it on auto on a low TC and I take a break from the game but leave it running as I said in low TC think it was x64, I come back and instead of chugging along at 100m depth and 3 knots on a course of 241 I find the boat going in a hard a port circle... :o

Ok I was happy as these guys to knock off three T2. But is there any known bug or am just seeing things or maybe the helmsman needs a night off?

:arrgh!:

If you placed navigational waypoints too close together, the boat cannot "aquire" them and goes in hard circles trying to do just that.

:know:

Ahhh that makes sense I may have on a smaller map view placed some zig zag moves for about 3 more km then enlarged the map and set straight line to course 241.

I bet that's it! TY

Either that or my Helmsman been in the Schnapps again ;)

Appreciate the reply

I've had that happen on several occasions too. I've been sailing straight towards a waypoint but instead of moving onto the next once we reach it the u-boat just starts going in circles.

If I move the waypoint further away from the sub the same thing happens, we sail straight towards it and back in a circle again once we reach it.
If I delete the waypoint using the rubber tool we just end up going in circles at the next waypoint.

I have to delete all waypoint in the course and plot them all again.
