I'm just thinking...
Sometimes it could be nice to know exact position where you find something interesting. One very simple way to do this could be for example: Range from the western line of grid to your position in kms - Range from the northern line of grid to your postion / Grid Square.
An example: 100-050/AN34 = 100 kms from west to east and 50 kms from north to south in the grid square AN34.
I use this myself when collecting information (routes, types of shipping, contacts and so on...) and I have found it to be very useful.
So, what do you think?
