Iv since the war start been stationed at Kiel (Wanted a VIIB over a IIB)
But now im ready to move. Im in learly 1941.
Is this a good time to move? I only have option for 1 base (7th flotilla me thinks - or 1st)

If you are in early 41, you should be based in St. Nazaire now, since August 40. Thats weird (that you are still in Keil).

Well its just from memory, so I might be worng about the date.
What kind of subs do they have in St.Nazaire?

They have the same subs like in Kiel, because thats still the 7th flottila. Well, you get VIIC, and then in 1943 you can buy VIIC/41. Also, from 1st of April 44, you can get type XXI in 7th and 11th flottila.

I'd move, and done it long time ago. ;) Access to open seas, can't beat that.

Personally I would have picked up the Flotilla Mod and started my career out of the 2nd Flottilla (VIIB is your initial boat in '39) in Wilhelmshaven! And of course if you're a IXB fan, that's the place to get it too in '40.

If it's not yet August 1940 (like Duli said) in your career, I'd just wait until you get your orders to move.
We have to wait for the army to conquer France, first.
