Help! "too many officers - go to barricks" error

hi i need some help since i installed the milk cows mod i click on single missions and then it stalls for about 30 seconds and then displays the missions ,when i click on a mission to load it displays a message saying "too many officers go to barricks"

i have no mods installed , i uninstalled the milk cows mod using the mod manager and have no custom missions installed either.

to install the mod manager and the mod i put the mod manger in the silent hunter 3 main directory and then the folder mods appeared , i then unziped the whole milk_en.zip into the mods folder like it said in the readme file of the mod and then i activated it using the mod manager.

i have tried to load up a new career and it comes up with the same message when i try and launch a mission "too many officers - go to barricks" , has someone had this before or do the dev teams know what this warning is because they put it in.

I hope you don't mean just unzip it right into the Mods folder? If you do then that's a problem, but I don't think that's the only problem. You have to unzip the mod into a folder within the Mods folder titled whatever you want to remember the name of the Mod as. I put my Milk Cow Mod in a folder within the Mods folder titled 'Milk Cow'. Then I went to JGSE and enabled 'Milk Cow.' However I don't think that is your problem. Best thing I can suggest is going back a save game or two and seeing if you can fix the bug that way. You might have switched U-boats or something that messed it up. Take the folder in My Documents that has your Profile, copy it, put it somewhere else, go back a save game and see if that fixes it, if not put the Profile back, overwrite the one you used and messed up. Then take someone else's advice.

Strange... The only time I've ever recieved a message telling me I had to many or not enough, was when I was in a campaign, and decided to go to a larger boat ''more'' or a smaller one ''less''. Since you are trying to start a single mission, it makes no sense to me either. However, stranger things have happened from time to time. Under the circumstances, I would recomend complete uninstall , then reinstall, especially since you don't have a bunch of mods to deal with. Hope this helps. Good luck.
