Nvidia drivers have corrupted SH2 for ages, think ever since the 50 series drivers, not sure though. So this is actually very old news :D

Yes, and with new driver 77.77 the spray bug is gone and you can reinstall SH2/DC on your new computer!

Great. did the 77.77 drivers have any other effects (good or bad) on SHIII ?

No, I didn't see anything negative. My son plays many other games on the same PC and he too did'nt have any negative effects. Only abaout WoW he told me that the movement is now smoother than before.
