View Full Version : WW ll German music for "Gramophone" Vol.5 is up
I served on Subs. in the Pacific and we enjoyed Toyko Rose broadcast, it was much better than what came out of Stateside.
Wow, the songs in the original post are great. I DLed the first pack and love it. I'm going to get them all. I don't know what they're singing about but it definately gives a flavour of the time. Absolutely perfect for use in SH3. Thank you for compiling and posting them for us!
It's great how hard this community works to make the SH3 experience better.

Does one unzip (extract) these files to the Mod Enabler or direct to Grammaphone, or is there some proceedure(s) prior to direct extraction?? Do they extract individually or as a group? Are they in OGG format or must they be converted? If so, how?
In short, what is the correct proceedure/sequence to get these to (randomly, via SHIII Commander) play as the game progresses?
Thanks...a computer Neanderthal, Frogdog
Are packs three through five going to be posted again (or have they already been somewhere else)? I grabbed packs one and two, but the rest say they've been deleted.
No when you click on the .rar you'll see the files. Then you can just select and drag them into the gramaphone folder. And I think they get played in the same order all the time, according to the order in which you placed them in the folder.
I got 1 - 3 but I missed getting 4 & 5.

I've tried everything I can think of, but the gramophone will not play any music. All I get is scratching noises. Anyone know how to fix this problem? Robert
Rob I think the chaps made some suggestions in your other thread about how to fix it. I don't have any mods installed so I am not sure how those affect the gramophone. Likely the scratchy sounds are simply a looped sound file so maybe just try to move the file out of the folder to see if that resolves it. I have no mods installed and I simply convert the sound files to MP3 and they work fine.

The original gramophone noise is in the regular sound folder and in the Gramophone folder is the mp3 830 Gramophone1.
