A friend sent me the link to this, I had never heard of it. Not a bad film overall, especially for a wartime project. Figured I would share the link.

This 1943 feature-length dramatization follows the Royal Navy T-class submarine "Tyrant" on a routine North Sea patrol off the coast of Norway.
Like many British wartime movies, the cast of this feature film are the serving officers and crew.
It was also filmed aboard an operational submarine, offering a rare and detailed view of life in such complex, cramped quarters.

nice!:Kaleun_Salute: straitforward no nonsense 'why we fight' stuff; filmed aboard actual HMS Tribune. Thanks for showing this.

No problem. glad to share.

I agree, it was nice to not have the 'why we fight' aspect. Just business.:Kaleun_Salute:

:salute: Nice one :yeah:.

I'm interested in the ship that escorts the submarines on their trip around Scotland before heading for their patrol areas. Can someone identify the class?

I'm quite familiar with British ships of the period, but I can't find this one. What is misleading me the most is the mast forward of the bridge instead of aft.

Any hints are welcome :salute:
