(My binoculars have become uncentered from the center reticle and they have limited range when being able to spot aircraft unlike when spotting warships/merchants what files control the spotting distance I tried looking in the .cam files under submarines to find nothing of value so I thought to ask here.

I have no mods loaded)

Edit: I pretty much just found a game breaking bug that relates to not being able to tell your gunners to target aircraft without visual confirmation

If you don't believe me set your sensor.cfg values all to 999 and try to target something with binoculars thats an aircraft

Did you previously have mods installed? If so, delete the "C:\Users \UserName \Documents \SH3" folder, and that will re-set the Saved game folder to nothing, which will then be re-built when you start the game again. You will lose all progress in any career you have. If that fails, try un-installing and then re-installing the game. Otherwise, it might be damage incurred while on patrol?? If so, maybe when you return to base, they'll see fit to "repair" it for you...

What propbeanie said.

Had that issue long ago, the only thing that corrected it was uninstall and reinstall.
