SH3 will only run in window

Tried to install the new GWX
I set up the SH3.exe to run as Admin in comp. mode for Windows 7, standard stuff. But the game runs in a 1024x768 window despite being set to full screen ( I checked in the main.cfg) Any ideas on how to fix this? :hmmm:

Delete the Save folder, which defaults to C:\Users \UserName \Documents \SH3 or similar. The game will rebuild the data when you first start SH3.exe again. Also, SH3.exe Properties also has to have Admin rights set, and you should set it to Compatibility mode, of which most anything from Windows XP SP-2 through Windows 7 works. You might also have to Disable Fullscreen Optimizations, and possibly set Change DPI to Application. It is recommended you use MultiSH3 to set a new Save folder with a 3 character name of your own choosing. But KC is NOT backwards compatible with anything. :salute:

Edit: If you keep having issues SwissSubCommander, run JSGME, then click on the "Tasks..." link in the middle of it. Choose "Export activated mods list to..." and then choose either "Clipboard" to paste it into your next posting, or "Text file" to copy and paste it later. We want to see the "path" of your install. Also, if you would list what cpu your computer has, the amount of RAM, and what your video card is please... Thanks

Can you give your sys specs please sir, it might help. I.E GFX card, Monitor etc.

This is the video resolution in my main.cfg, try and change yours to 1024 x 800 and see if it works. Use notepad and change it to 1024 x 800 and save it like that and try and run the game.

Tried it. The problem persists...
I had to set my exe to run in windows 95 compatibility in order for it to work.
I had the same issue as you.
EDIT: Ran as win 95, then switched to win 7 and it worked, IDK why, but that fixed it for me.
