Enjoy the visuals. :D Even Aliens could learn from this.

The acid is made of H2SO4 and H2O2.

Not only is it unbelievably aggressive, but it also heats itself up in seconds and brings itself to boiling temperature. Thats what makes this handy to have if you have an argument with your evil mother-in-law: it makes her going lost while at the same time it warms your heart. :)

And while we are about managing family relations: this is hexafluoroantimonic acid, the most aggressive acid known in the world of chemistry, it is - origonal quote - "one hundred quadrillion times" stronger than H2SO4. With this, even the Alien becomes soft and fluffy again.

Eh - how many zeroes...?

Edit: the correct answer would be: seventeen zeroes. :)

Where's the news? Peroxosulfuric acid (also called Caro's acid) has been known for a long time (it was first isolated in 1898), and a very strong oxidant, so it's not surprising that it oxidizes practically everything organic. It's not even alone in that regard, nitric acid in any combination with additional oxidizers, as well as chloric acid react in similar ways.

The news it is because I see this with my own eyes for the first time ever. Not this fast, at least.

And maybe some others havent seen it before, too. ;)
