SH3 commander crew edit?

I started my first campaign with OneAlex and using SH3 Commander. I got a little question.

When clicking "Manage your crew..", a new window pops up and showing all the crewmen.
But I cannot change anything in that "crew" window. Please tell me what I am doing wrong here. I only want to change names there

Did you already go on a patrol? Or is your boat still in port?

in port after 1st mission... but maybe save game es totally corrupt..
