Aiming inaccuracy

Hi,

I have been playing SH Wolves of the Pacific gold edition since about 2008 or so on Win 7 with different mods .

This spring I splurged on a new Win 11 Pro PC and have been playing the stock game.
I'm having a bizarre issue with the use of the cursor and my guns, precision aiming is frustrating as the mouse control feels like its just dirty and not accurate.
I have tried replacing the new wired mouse that came with the PC with my old wireless one and again with a newer wired mouse and still the aiming is jumpy and inaccuracy is present.
My target has to be deadly close to be effective!
Anyone had this problem and has a cure? Am about to finish the war and would like it a lot to get the issue out of the way before I get back into a mod.

I have tried adjusting the speed from full slow to fast in the windows config panel without any change in game.

Im even thinking of getting my crew to shove all my guns overboard if I cant resolve this little frustation.

So the Japanese forfeited the war before i could trow my guns overboard. :arrgh!:

So much for the stock game with all the map traffic clutter and incessant plane attacks, on to mod
with FalloftherisingSun_V1.3. It just so happens my erratic manual control of my guns is back to a normal damped movement and accuracy I was used to on my old 16 yr machine.! :yeah:

Still have a few changes to fine tune to get it all back working like I remember.
