Hello everyone!
I was wondering if anyone knows whether the game developers are planning to add a "rather free" first-person exploration feature to the game, similar to SH5, where you could walk throughout the entire submarine.
I understand that modeling an entire destroyer is a big task, so maybe just the important rooms with their connections and the watch positions could be modeled, allowing players to freely walk between stations and making the game feel much more immersive.
I also understand that you sometimes need to navigate through many menus quickly during combat, so the addition of free first-person exploration wouldn’t necessarily mean removing the screen shortcuts altogether.
What do you think? I apologize if this suggestion seems unreasonable, as I know very little about game development :(
