Can someone tell me how to get recon manual for fotrsu that has lengths?
I play metric, but if some length version is to download somewhere i'd be very greatful. All can do!

i play 100 realism without map updates so need length to calculate speed.

Now im watching lengths from a4 paper, but i have seen, that some guys had lengths in recon manual.

There have been multiple attempts over the years to do such, but one of the major problems with it is that no two mod set-ups are the same, specifically the Roster of the game. Even in FotRSU, there is a difference between the base mod, and if you add Nippon Maru and/or Nihon Kaigun to the mix, or even ships you have downloaded elsewhere... but, here are a couple of threads of interest:

ElCid97's Recognition Manual Overhaul - FotRSU-NM-NK Edition (https://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?p=2889064#post2889064)
which has Nippon Maru and Nihon Kaigun in it (the "NM-NK" portion of the name)
Download: Targeting Assistant V1 (https://www.subsim.com/radioroom/downloads.php?do=file&id=6393)
It can be rather complex to implement, but is workable, if you have that mod load-out...

MacGregor the Hammer's Ship Length Table (https://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=248602)
Download: Ship Length Table rev A (https://www.subsim.com/radioroom/downloads.php?do=file&id=5750)
That is for FotRSU v1.26p, so would be missing quite a few ships added since, and is basically what you are using now...

As a side note, the next release of the mod will have ship lengths included in the RecManual, although there will not be a way to "automatically" enter the data into the TDC. For one thing, the US TDC did not use the length of the ship to determine range, but rather the height of the masts... anyway, we are still a little bit aways from release, in that we are in the process of attempting further checks of missions in the campaign. This will take a bit to do yet... :salute:

Sorry For The miss place of this thread, and thank you For your responses and links!

I solved this one in the end. I switched to The TMO cause fotrsu was too easy... AND i also modded it to look like TMO, rfb and fotrsu mix up graphically. I have no problems with it cause they are only little visual tweaks. I also went through ROSTER FILE and added lengths on The end of each ships name. Copied it from The SEA folder. So i have TMO with ships lengths now.

On The rec Manual it looks like "Haruna Maru (76)" where 76 is meters.

PS. I use length only to calculate speed by wire. I have never kept ext. cameras or nav map update ON, so speed calculations at map not so precise and The crew i dont Trust enough.

All these mods are so great and REALLY appreciate this community and mod makers. My god how dedicated you were and how much time you guys have spent to do such marvelous experiences us sim gamers... I have read all readme files first of all by pure respect and the second cause there are vital information and story behind it. There really is something to everyone no matter how you prefer to play it.
