Greetings,
I decided to Give SH4 a try and maybe wince at what my IGPU does to it but surprisingly, It loads faster than SH3 and Runs better around ships more smoothly *Crosses Fingers*. The Water Looks.....Strange Foggy Mist though I guess it can be tweaked.

What's the best settings for potato laptop, You fellas Use (If Any).

That would be all.

let it run with the standard settings.
i have never touched my vid card setting while playing SH4.
i suggest using a 4GB enabler such as Large Address Aware. this will allow your GP-CPU to utilize more of your RAM while playing.
the game itself has a few video options but i only use one or two.
keep in mind that there are two sets of options in SH4...
one for single missions and "war patrols"
and
the other is for career mode.
they control the same options but act independently.

Large Address Aware (https://subsim.com/radioroom/downloads.php?do=file&id=3634) is probably in the Mods Forum here at Subsim. :subsim:

the other 4GB might also be available, except i cannot remember its name.

When you first start the game in options you have sound, gameplay, and graphics. You also have those settings when you are in port in the office(check them both) for what you want. I think they are in the book shelf for vanilla and in the filing cabinet when you are using mods. Good hunting! that sounds like a really old graphics chip IIRC!
