View Full Version : Food related: They doesn't know anything about the affect
In a issue PETA wrote how much we could save if we stopped eating meat.
Have they ever been thinking on the affect of this ?
Who is going to take care of all these millions of cows, pigs and chickens ? And who's gonna pay for the food they eat on daily basis ?
I foresee a mass slaughter of said animals, if people should stop eating meat.
To the moderator-I tried to find our food thread, without any luck-Please add this thread to our food thread.

Its idiotic, which is no surprise, since PETA people are idiotic fanatics. I have argued a lot about what food fits our biochemistry in the health thread, and gave many links to lectures, interviews, videos, documentaries, studies; and what PETA - and climate-driven Vegans and Vegetarians - want to feed people, will cause hundreds of millions of people becoming metabolically seriously ill, and if they dont stop it, they will die of it sooner than they must by their natural health expectancy. You cannot argue with biochemistry, it accepts ideology not as an argument.
We are meat eaters, and we are meat eaters since millions of years. Live with it. Most of the plants we eat today did not even exist a blink of an eye ago in human evolutionary history, and this also applies to modern wheat and other cereals. Plant seed oils are being eaten since not even 150 years (no, the ancient mediterranean populations did not eat olive oil, they used it as kind of a soap only). And as a result, we are not metabolically adapted to them. Not to the thousands and thousands of chemical warfare agents that plants use to defend themselves against being eaten, not to the specific form in which various nutrients are present in plants and which make them less or not at all bioavailable to us, not to the anti-nutrients that ruin our eating of the few nutrients that plants could actually offer us. The vitamine and minerla and trace element contents of vegetables and fruits are vastly overestimated and have further degraded over the past 100 years as a consequence from eroding farmland soil quality. Using fertilizers excessively comes at a cost, the bill gets presented with a delay of decades.
The physical degeneration of humans began around 12 millennia ago. Humans also became sedentary 12 millennia ago and began farming, until then they were either hunters, hunter-gatherers, or fishermen. Since then, their physique has become smaller, their skeleton, their bone stability, their muscle mass, their skull size, their jaw size (no wonder that orthodontists in the western world are in high demand), their immunological resistence, and the brains of Homo Sapiens Sapiens have shrunk by about 10% in these 12,000 years. No, we are not the most clever and witty humans who ever lived. TV is evidence for it.
There are significant correlations between a vegan diet in children and adolescents and the likelihood of autism and ADHS as well as learning disorders and neurogenerative underdevelopment in adolescents.
Plant-based diets are high in carbohydrates and fiber, and lead to insulin resistance, obesity, chronic inflammation, autoimmune diseases, hormonal disorders, and intestinal problems. Plant-based and seed-oil using diets are not the treatment for such diseases - but too often the cause.
Eat only fatty red meat and fish and there will be no nutrient deficiencies in the body. Eat only plant-based foods, and many nutrient deficiencies remain, which, if not compensated for by artificial means or meat/fish/eggs, make people often ill - and ultimately kill them.

PETA is what you'd get if you let crazy feral cat ladies organize. JD Vance was onto something with his comment about single cat ladies. :03::D
I know Marc has posted a lot of information and the advantage on meat-Red meat in our health thread.
What I tried to tell is that PETA do not think one inch..
A farmer with 100 cows what shall he do with them if people stopped eating meat and drinking milk ?
He have to send them to slaughter 'cause he hasn't the money to feed them and this goes for every farmer who have cows, pigs, goats and chickens
I say:
Eat what kind of meat you want, but choose meat from animals who have been living a good life and not a stressful life.

Free range eggs/chicken being a fair example.

Indeed, slaughtering the existing lifestock and repalc eit with plant famring is seriously considered in soem coutnries. Ireland wnats to kill a vast part of its cattle and cows, for exsample. Its not yet clear wether they get through with that, the idea is so obscene and monstrous. Canada coould become a cnadidate, too. I heard it from Greece. Sweden. It gets seriously debated. Also, in germany. Last but not least: the EU, and the WHO.
The problem with PETA and also many Vegans is they are incredibly intolerant, ideologically fanaticised, and are not shy of becoming militant to enforce their demands.
Lets bring the methane production to nill. Kill all animals in the world. Including humans. Where there is no animal life, there is no farting.
Eat what kind of meat you want, but choose meat from animals who have been living a good life and not a stressful life.
In a perfect, ideal world, yes. Fact is organic beef costs three times as much as normally raised beef. Not mkany can afford these costs, even I must accept compromises. Costs cna be borught down by clamping down on plant farmingn and widening lifestock and cattle farming. Move the herds aorudn a lot, dint have too many animals in a space, and you get what the EU and tzhe UN wants: spovling the probkem of degenrating agricilturally usable soils. Turn famrland into meadows and but cows and buffalo and th elike sonto it. thats how nature has done it since millenia. But the powerful lobbies of Big Farming, Big Food and Big Cereals will not allow that without putting up fights.
Also, our populatioisn are soo huge that fio you want to feed them all on canriovore diets predomjantly, you cnanot cape to produce that meat industrially predominantly, ther eis no way aoprund it. Because WE ARE TOO MANY.
Its always getting down to these four words, isn't it. WE ARE TOO MANY. Our population sizes are not sustainable.
