I don't think it strange at all. Steve was here, like you, from the beginning of Subsim. Like you, he loved his time here and enjoyed his friends as well. Steve made significant contributions to Subsim, like you and many others. I hope Steve was proud of the vibrant and diverse Community that Subsim has become with members from all over the world.

I remember him telling me he had ridden Motorcycles and would love to be back out on the road again. I wish he had been able to enjoy that again. Everyone should have something in their life that makes them happy whether It's Sports, Horses, Model building / collecting, Astronomy, Boat sailing, Motorcycles, Computer Gaming or whatever.

Just a couple of weeks ago, I ran across a bit of text online that was a mess of grammatical errors and the first thought I had was, "Sailor Steve would have had a field day with this..." ; he is very much missed and he is still very much remembered...
