How the hell did the left win in Poland? It's worse than a false flag attack on a radio station.

No other EU member gets as much money from the EU. Thats how.

Should Ursula be getting worried about her job? :)

The left didn't win. The winning parties are conservatives, liberals and agrarians - centrists.

And if you believe anything from Tichys Einblicke you also believe Santa Claus is brought by The Stork. It's less reliable than used toilet paper.

In our wonderufl new world everything unwelcomed that is not the officially approved and wanted mainstream narration with the great seal of the woke left progressive establishment on it, is "unreliable". And worse, of course, like in this case. Tichy is strictly anti-EU. Which is of course absolutely unforgivable.

Yes. For many in Brussels she still is not left and dictatorial enough. Her re-election is not certain.

What I know so far is that Poland have rejected taking refugees into the country. What will happen now when a real Pro-EU politician has won the Election in Poland I can't say

One could argue Poland is no longer influenced by any other EU country.

I wonder what will become of the South-Korea connection to rearm their armed forces... I mean now that the German "Zeitenwende" is done and over...

MarkusDonald Tusk prime minister of Poland since 2023. Tusk previously served as prime minister from 2007 to 2014, and as president of the European Council from 2014 to 2019 he is very pro EU.

Boat people shouldn't be much of a problem then.

The problems the new government in Poland has is to restore the damaged democracy rule of law, immigration is not a problem if you know how many poles work in my country it is hypocritical to say that asylum seekers are the problem of everything. It is the political leaders and Russia who are using this "problem" for their own gain really don't think you or I will gain anything if less asylum seekers are admitted, who else will have to do the dirty work next, you? When I have a heavy job or jobs I will not do myself I hire some immigrant they are cheap and willing they do the job no Dutch will ever do, a Dutchman would rather apply for benefits than this kinda hard work that is fact since the 50s-60s.

Good case for taking away the benefits and the illegal aliens. I admire the Asian countries that aren't going to let their countries be ruined by illegal aliens altering the culture of their countries. No benefits available so their own people are willing to do a little hard work, it's either that or do a Kathy Bates "Misery" on their own children so they can use them for sympathy to beg on the city sidewalk, busy sidewalk, dressed in holiday style. In the air there's a feeling of bah humbug. :D

The benefits will not go away it is in our constitution our social contract with the government and with the shortage of workforce we need immigrants they will not change our country the constitution is too strong and can not be easily changed you need more than two third of parliament for that. We as a whole care for each other, that is the way we have done since WWII. If I get ill we collectively take care, if I am at a certain age I can stop working we as collective pay for that, if I am out of a job I get money to live off we all do that for each other because if you utter "we are the people" we are "we" not "I" we are one. This we do for more as a century, and we prosper, so why would I demand to abolish that would rather be stupid my parent fought and worked for this I am certainly not gone to stab me in my own back. I am free to do, say what I want, be what I want, get more than 25 day paid holiday days all kind of other benefits would you be the one that takes that away from me, you are in trouble, serious trouble.

There are two sides to the coin sometimes. During my time in Dordrecht I earned almost 3x that of the Dutchman next to me but in fairness I must admit I had skills the Dutchman didn't have and was expected to pass them on.
