Thanks to all of you for the good wishes...

...however, as I have said in the past, once one reaches a certain point in their life, the song "Happy Birthday To You" becomes somewhat less relevant than "Nearer My God To Thee"... :D

...and I got videos of two very beautiful women to boot; been a log time fan of Josie Cotton, and an even longer fan of Grace Slick; Grace and I seem to share a similar 'skewed' sense of humor...

Birthday wishes should also go out to Ludwig van Beethoven, Jane Austin, Billy Gibbons, among others, all who have a shared December 16th birthday; also included is the actress Krysten Ritter who I ran into earlier this year as she was walking out of a building as I was entering; I thought of maybe saying hello, but she seemed to be on her way in a bit of a hurry and there was a sort of retinue around her, so I just passed on the idea; if I had spoken to her, she would have been the first person in my life I would have met with the same birthday as mine; of course, her date of birth was fairly recent compared to mine which was when dinosaurs roamed the earth...

This year December 16th is also the 250th anniversary of the Boston Tea Party and there will apparently be big celebrations in Boston; interestingly, the USA preference for coffee stems from the Tea Party: colonialists boycotted tea in the aftermath of the Tea Party, partly to distance themselves from a connection with the UK, but also to deny revenue to the Crown since tea was a major export to the colonies, so revenues from sales suffered as did the collection of taxes on the sale of tea in the colonies; we embraced coffee and haven't regretted it since...
