Hello everyone i have some questions regarding how to evade sonar in this game.
I tried to pass through gibraltar and into the med sea. But as i slipping away under the sea a destroyer detected me. Naturally i go deeper into to around 80m and set the engine into silent run. No luck as the destroyer still detecting me and now the boat were being pinged by sonar. I go deeper to around 210m and set the engine around 0.5 knots. The destroyer keep pinging me although he always missed when dropping the depth charges. I then dive deeper to around 240m and still being pinged and eventually my boat were crushed by the pressure. So what actually could be done by me to evade the sonar? Im using onealex gwx btw

Go through when the weather is choppy up above. That cuts down on the ability of sonar to detect you. Try to put your butt on the destroyer as it searches for you. You can press H to get the hydrophone and search behind you till you hear it then turn left or right as appropriate.

Personally, I never go under 200m.

Silent running isn’t silent! Once you are detected by a destroyer… it’s over. You need to go full evasion.
