We have had many threads about what kind of food we like. However we haven't had a thread about things we do not like.

I do not like pork, lamb and some type of vegetables. When it comes to fish it is only a few I like. Cod is one of them, except it has to be fried then I can eat it.

I do not eat chicken or poultry in general.

Vegetables are healthy and I dont deny it and even preach to eat them. Nevertheless I dont like most vegetables, I am filling a duty when eating them and I am happy when it is over. I also dislike buying them and the work preparing them.

You understand my dilemma?:D

I don’t like bottom feeders, clams, oysters, crabs. They eat what people flush down the toilet. Every recovery I was involved in always had a crab crawl out of someone’s eye socket.

Disgusting little bastiges

Wot :o Why do your christian folks eat fish on fridays then? What about Petrus :O:
I like fish if it does not taste like it. Like grilled dorade, trout baked in a salt crust, but i definitely like smoked salmon. And prawn, and calamari fritti, though I know I should not eat local relatives :D
No cooked fish. I definitely do not like Surstroemming.
Labskaus, uhh, not voluntarily. I also do not like Sushi.
Pork, beef yes, also some wild game.

No squirrels. I would not eat bats, maggots, spiders or insects. Protein be damned. Or only in emergency situations.

I do not like spinach very much, but I eat it. Vegetables generally, yes.

You'd never find her body.

Brussels sprouts and Lima beans.

Yuck

Those were the first two items on my list too! Maybe add oysters, chicken livers, bamboo, eel, and raw meat dishes in Thailand.

Yuck

Oh man I love Brussels sprouts halved brushed with a little oil, some salt and pepper or just coat with some teriyaki sauce then bake’em. Can’t stand-‘em cooked any other way.

I would rather starve than eat broccoli, cauliflower, brussel sprouts, lima beans (yech), beets or peanuts in any form. Not a fan of boiled meats either, good Irish corned beef being an exception to that.

Good thread Markus.

I can't stand Milk dishes. As a child we had Milk soups, milk with rice, milk with macaroni. And at school compulsory milk courtesy of the Education Dept. Yuck, been left in the sun for a few hours.

Can't stand Offal either.....brains, kidneys, tripe, hearts. YUCK. :dead:

Thank goodness I haven't been forced into cannibalism, there are so many ugly hideous people. Could you imagine being forced to roast Nancy Pelosi for a meal, I would rather boil a shoe.

I guess I'm like many here. No Brussel sprouts or cauliflower. No lamb either. Friends that hunt have given me deer meat but no matter how I have prepared it, I didn't like it. We eat salads with chicken or beef cut up in it. Our salads feature generous amounts of fresh Spinach with equally generous amounts of green, red and yellow Peppers, Cucumbers, Tomatoes and Onions and olives. I top the salads off with a nice Balsalmic Vinaigrette dressing. Fresh Italian or French Bread to sop up excess dressing is nice too. I do like beets and Broccoli and most vegetables. They help address heart and circulation health issues among other things

I like a plate of sliced cucumbers lightly seasoned and with Balsalmic Vinaigrette dressing. Not much is better than a good pan fried fresh rainbow trout. Cod is great as well.

Lifelong dislike of garlic despite the fact I eat so much curry....provided I can't taste or smell it.

Brains.

I admit to an emotional and irrational aversion of eating mammal brains.

No logical reason, but just the idea upsets me.

I'll eat pretty much anything except Cilantro/Coriander (tastes like a mouthful of diesel), Mint, and I'm not keen on Dill either.
