TWOS mod questions

I'll try to keep it short:
Played all the SH games, loved them all, but new to TWOS mods.
Is there any kind of tutorials?
How do you dock in port?
Can I switch the language to English?


I thought I was a veteran player, and I was so happy to find this site and get my old broken game up and running again!!


I can barely even operate my sub now, could barely even fire torpedoes yet alone hit anything, just got shot up bad on the first mission barely made it back to port and cant get any repairs done because I don't get prompted to dock in port.
Can someone give me the "TWOS mods for dummies" or just get me started in the right direction, its just so different than I was used to!

i understand your frustration. i have the same issue with SH5. in any case, here are two threads with a lot of helpful info on how to operate SH5.

Once you get to port there will be an anchor icon in the top right of your screen. If you don't see that you are probably at the wrong port. You should see a sub icon near your home port on the map. I believe it gets moved to Kiel part way through the first mission.


Good luck out there, TWOS is challenging to learn but there are a lot of resources. Bstanko6 and tonic87 have a lot of good videos.
