Which OS do you use and do you have only with SH5 this issue or also with other games or applications?

You can try first a reinstallation (deinstallation, reboot and new installation) of SH5, use CHKDSK and SFC.

How are you attempting to start the game also, Hardigen? Is it trying to use UPlay, or UConnect? UPlay was dumped and replaced with UConnect... I just tried to look through Ubi tech support for UConnect issues, and they have a LOT of stuff to look through... you might try to search on your error code with that text and see what you find...

Oh wow... https://www.ubisoft.com/en-gb/help/connectivity-and-performance/article/ubisoft-connect-pc-compatibility-with-windows-7/000102431

I cannot find where Ubi has any older versions of UConnect either...

Just get the Crack.
You can at lest play the Game that way.

ALL older versions of UPlay or UConnect will do an automagical UPDATE insuring you've been ripped off so don't bother.
Yes. I run Windoze 7 and can at lest run SH5 with the Crack. No UCannotPlay or UCannotconnect on my system.

This tec has put in all new drivers and upgrades on my pc ,and still it won,t work ,he seems to think that it will work with windows 10 installed, but I like windows 7, I have ubisoft connect and when I open that the same error occurs so the next step will be to check any files in qurantine , thats all I can think of at the moment, Sorry for not replying I,ve had a bereavement and its left me smashed to bits
