My save folder has moved. Might be an error by me cleaning out docs folder. Where should it go, as all my saves have moved with it????

the default folder is: C:\Users\YourUserNameHere\Documents\SH4

the last node may be different if you are using MultiSH4 but it must always be limited to three characters.

yesterday I was on the pc and a windows update went in. I came back to play SH4, only to find all mods had vanished from JSGME and all games had vanished from Saves. I spent hours trying to fix both the game and the pc (it refused to open on 3-4 reboots). I am now with USS Snapper off North Philippines and the torpedoes are taking 'hours' to reload, normal reload in NOT ticked. After all that work yesterday, I am going to remove Steam SH4 and go back to disk load, and start again. Cant find anything in cfg either.

Do you have MS OneDrive active on your PC? Not the online version, but the actual Windows program for that? The reason I ask is because MS is ~so~ helpful :roll: when they put that on your computer, and back-up and delete things from your Documents folder because you know longer need to use them... kind of like an Apple iPhone...

Dont use it at all. I deleted it long ago. I reloaded from disk, adding mods by hand as JSGME refused them. Everything is so much better, almost dream game. Except for one thing, and I cant find control. Auto reload torps on entering base. U always had that now I dont. Oh yes, the pc refuses to allow me to run sh4.1.exe (danger signs). I think the game is already 4.1 but wasnt sure.
