Compass overlay on nav map

Haven't loaded up sh4 for a while. Just loaded stock game and choose a quick mission. Went to nav map and haven't got the compass overlay on sub. I'm ready to do palm plant on forehead, thought this was automatic. Loaded on e: drive

do you mean when you are zoomed in and there is 3000 yd gridwork along with the compass overlay?

in order to have that 3000 yd perimeter for your-own-ship-icon, you must use one of the 3000 yard bearing plotter mods that CapnScurvy created. they are stored in the MODS forum. use the one with the screen resolution that matches your config.
