OOPS! :o

An Adolf Hitler speech was played over a loudspeaker on a train in Austria on Sunday, 14 May.

In footage posted by Green Party MP David Stoegmueller, a speech in which the Nazi German leader says “Sieg Heil” is heard over the intercom.

After the Second World War, Austria passed a ban similar to Germany banning the Nazi party, spreading Nazi propaganda, and symbols of Hitler’s Third Reich.

Two people have been charged.

Train operator OBB said the suspects obtained a generic key to gain access the intercom system to play the speeches on a mobile phone.

Happens, sometimes on purpose. Johnny Buchardt did this during the Cologne Karneval of 1973 (important things happen during the first 20 seconds):

(First sentence: "Wie ist denn die Stimmung?" - literally: "What's the mood like?", figuratively "Are you in a good mood?")

I understand that mistakes can happen.

I am, however, having difficulty understanding how a recording of Hitler can accidentally be broadcast. :06::hmmm:

You can ban the Nazi party, ban the Nazi propaganda, and ban all symbols of Hitler’s Third Reich, but the one thing they cannot do is ban the ideology behind it all.
