I would go mad if I had to do the same.

Equipped with little more than books and art supplies to keep busy, a Spanish woman spent 500 days living in a cave underground with next to no contact with the outside world.

Madness! :o
One sees madness when he looks inside from outside, and the other sees madness when he looks outside from inside.

It would be hard the first couple of weeks or month missing stuff from the life above such as internet, news and time.

I said before that I would go mad..I'm an introvert person do not fancy huge group of people or people standing to close to me.

Nevertheless I need some social contact now and then-An half hours talk with a friend at our local grillbar is what I need as medicine for about two-three weeks.

Online friends, which I would miss most-is different, I can exchange words with them daily without breaching my personal barrier which is about 10 cm on me.

Another thing-Even if she was alone she had this thought back in her head-Soon I will meet my family and friends. I think that kept here alive and creative.

How would a human react if this person knows there's no one to welcome s/he when their return.

Of course there would be survives whatever may happen-But there may not be a single human miles around when this person decide to come out from their bunker.

Don't ever let yourself be put in prison then Markus! 16 months is a light sentence as they go and in jail solitary confinement is usually preferable than getting thrown in with the general prison population.

Besides she had plenty of books and artistic materials to read/play with and she was still in contact with the outside world. A sixteen month vacation is what I would call it! :)
