I'm trying out SH3 Transformer, but I keep getting this error:
Runtime Error '13': Type Mismatch
But I think Ive got my data right, here's my control.txt

C:\SH3\
C:\SH3 Commander\
C:\Users\Toni\Documents\SH3\data\cfg\Careers
What am I doing wrong?
Is its creator still around?
The topic seems gone, so I create this for my question.

Here are some things to check ...
1. Did you have any trouble installing. It doesn't appear so, but if you did, temporarily turn off your antivirus software and install again -- then turn antivirus back on.
2. If you install in a "Program Files (x86)" directory, be sure to select Properties > Compatibility and select "Run the program as an administrator". Personally, I would do this regardless of where you installed it just to be safe and insure the program has system-wide access.
3. I'm surprised to see the terminating backslash on your paths -- the program does not normally save that as part of the path. Here is my "Control.txt" file ...
0
D:\Ubisoft\SilentHunterIII
C:\Program Files (x86)\SH3 Commander
C:\Users\Stacy\Documents\SH3\data\cfg\Career
- Note that the first entry is a zero or one and should be in the second column of the first row.
- The second entry (without a trailing backslash) should be the path to where your "sh3.exe" executable is located. Confirm.
- The third entry (without a trailing backslash) should be the path to where your "SH3Cmdr.exe" executable is located. Confirm.
- The fourth entry is the path to your SH3 Career Files -- THIS LOOKS CORRECT.
I would recommend that you confirm your paths and make sure you are running the program as an administrator and see what happens.
