Had to wipe/reinstall SH5/TWoS on my Win10 LT. Installed SH5 Battle of the Atlantic Gold Ed and at the end it loaded Ubi and tried to connect with the server and failed. I recently read that Ubisoft is no longer supporting SH5. Is there a way to run SH5 and bypass the Ubisoft interface? Would like to get back to TWoS. Thanks!

Is this Steam version or other? At least for Steam version you have to manually download and install Ubisoft Connect, because old Ubi launcher bundled with the game does not function anymore.

Sorry - this is NOT the Steam version. It's on DVD.

Same basic difference. You do need to go to the Ubi site and download the "new" UConnect stuff... but it is still a pain in the backside bending over backwards and jumping through the hoop at the same time for them...
