I've been handling the Subsim site for over 26 years, finally I am going to have an assistant to help. It's an AI databot, I've set it up and will begin programming her to handle e-mail and password resets, then database maintenance. Hopefully, later this year she will be available to handle mod support. She's an expert coder, fast reader, has perfect spelling, and is fluent in 0ver 30 languages. Plus she can whip out art assets faster than you can say Los!

Do edits create a workload? I usually do a crazy number of edits on forum postings before I get it "right". If I've been causing a huge amount of work across a number of forums all these years I could just write my posts in a text file previous to putting them on a forum?

Pretty impressive..

We set up a ChatGTP and asked it several questions, among others something like "write me a code in Python to compare several newsfeeds and judge them for credibility". It did not take five seconds.

I find this rather scary, i cannot yet imagine what this could become able to do.
I know this is not real inteligence, however.. it could be told once to write a code to improve itself that would go on forever if not stopped, and later even build some phenotype of itself, 3d printers or such provided.
We could be witnessing the start or even creation of something new :hmmm:

On execution, it calls the openAI chatbot API to make up a few "words of wisdom" then stores the quote, with metadata to a json.
For example: A website backend could run the script once per day, then post the new quote as a "Quote of the Day" or something.

You'll get a unique quote every day! :yeah:

I've had like a billion of these kinds of ideas since I started experimenting with the API and it's sent my ADHD through the roof :haha:

Of course you can customize the prompt to get any kind of quote, funny quote, poem, song lyrics or anything you want.

Just watched your newly released "woke superhero" video. Too funny! Yeah, wish they'd tone-down the woke stuff; it's extremely annoying after awhile, especially when you want short concise answers.

Is she actually interacting back-and-forth with you in realtime or is some editing involved? I've been playing with this stuff myself and am surprised I haven't found a good speech-interaction app yet. I'm tempted to roll my own, but there's certain to be several well-assembled app any minute now. (We should be spending time integrating AI into our workflows/lives, not assembling voice-recognition/synthesis/avatar apps still!)
