Before I went to the this bone knocker I was sure it was one of the three common case-when you have pain in the lower part of your back No it wasn't
Now I finally know why I was walking around with chronic pain in the lower part of my back.. It didn't matter what I did or didn't do, I was in pain. went to our local physiotherapist and it turns out that my pelvis has misaligned or shifted. Got a training program that I need to use at home

Try to find a position where the pain is not so severe.

Sorry to hear of your issues, Markus. Back issues are the worst. I had similar issues 2 months ago. I used inversion therapy. Essentially, you can lay on a table usually upside down. You lay at a 45 degree or better angle. Your weight tends to realign the spine in inversion therapy. If you have access to this therapy, try it. I know it helped me.

I just hung upside down with the other bats. :D

I got following message when entering your second link

"Thanks for visiting! GoodRx is not available outside of the United States. If you are trying to access this site from the United States and believe you have received this message in error, please reach out to legal@goodrx.com and let us know."

The first one was readable. Now I know what they meant I do not have the right equipment to hang upside down.

It may be the illiosacral joint, if this is the case there is some pressure needed and some physiotherapist help. This will release the pain instantly, and interval training will get yourself rid of this ever happening again.

Also have your feet checked out. Some of my back pain was caused by pressure on one of my arches. Weird how something with your foot can affect your back like that.

Funny you mention feet-'cause when I walk I walk in a funny way where I have angle my right foot out 90 degrees and the left somewhere around 45 degrees this made it less painful walking. It was this and other thing that made the physiotherapist conclude that I had a misaligned or shifted pelvis.

Free quack medical advice. My PT said you shouldn't alter your gait as it just causes different problems. That will be $500.00. :arrgh!:

Thank so much for your positive response.

I have never experience this before, where I'm in pain whatever I do or don't. Those times when I had Lumbago I could find positions where the pain was almost gone-Not here no

I got a mix of painkillers, however they only take around half to 2/3 of the pain.

Sometimes a back pain can be indicative of conditions unrelated to the spine or connecting bone structure; I am currently taking medications that can possibly have adverse effects on the kidneys and my doctor has advised me, if I should happen to notice back pain, previously not experienced, I should immediately seek medical attention since such pain could be an indicator of incipient kidney failure; also, I had suffered from chronic pancreatitis at one time and when I had gall bladder removal surgery to remedy a sever case of gall stones causing the pancreatitis, I noticed that a long (years long) chronic back pain I'd had also disappeared after the surgery; I mentioned this to my doctor and he said pancreatitis often presents as a sharp pain in the upper back; it sometime pays to go a little deeper than just dismissing a situation as "Oh, its just another little back pain"...

Got the result from the X-Ray earlier today.

I have Lumbar Compression Fracture between L3 and L4.

Can't be treated-As I've been told.

One of the thing I have to do is-Do as little as possible-Keep the daily activity as low as possible.

I also have to wear one of these clothes Woman used to wear under their dress earlier in our history. In Danish it's called Lændestøtte=Lumbar support

So it was not pelvis who had misaligned or shifted.

That sucks. Did they say whether it is a lasting or a temporary condition? I had to look up your issue by the term you used, there I read in most cases with injury as a cause it heals out after 8-12 weeks, but a bend in the back may remain, if caused by osteoporosis at least the pain gets less after some time. Did your doctors tell you anything?

Osteoporosis is mostly a women's issue, but men can get it, too, just not as often. Did you suffer an injury due to work, accident or sports, or is it osteoporosis-caused?

Gute Besserung anyway!

Thank you

I said to my doctor-It came slowly..not a sudden pain.

Further test will reveal the cause of it, if it's osteoporosis related

She will send a remiss to a specialist think you call them orthopedist

I'm awaiting a call from them.

This happens to all life walking on two feet or vertically. Be happy you do not live on a neutron star. As I learned in universities (in what they call paleontology) the advantages of upright walk are vastly overrated :03:

Lumbar compression is only sometimes related to osteoporosis, it is just a compression of the "buffer" between the vertebrae. These cartilage 'buffers' are receiving and letting out all kinds of stuff to keep themselves 'up to the job' and elastic (by being compressed and decompressed – they "in- and exhale" in a way, so it is better to keep them in motion), but with age and stress they begin to suffer from malnutrition and lack of movement, and they may crack/fracture.

Have this myself. Went to a well-known surgeon, he told me that he would perform surgery if I wanted (good old german health system), but he would not advise to if not absolutely neceessary.
He literally said "I can do that but things will get worse after this. If you can stand the pain better let it be".
He advised to visit an orthopedist and the latter gave instructions to do some rest first for four weeks, and then to do certain exercises, which depend on which vertebrae are affected.
To cut it short I lost the symptoms within three months –

-> visit more than one specialist and have them look at the problem, gather information from more than one doctor.

Hope you get better. The danish health system is good or so I heard

Ah - Bandscheibenvorfall, now I understand, I mistook mapuc's issue with a fraction of the bone vertebrae itself. Damn english terminology, only existing to lead me into the wrong direction... You are lucky that its not me diagnosing you, Markus, if I would you would be more dead than ill by now. :D
