First time I played around with the airspray chipping technique.
The model is based on Lt. Alexander Vraciu's plane circa June 1944

Great job on the build.

Is Eduard worth the premium money? :hmmm:

This was the first Eduard model I build, I found the decals to be a little thick, but other than that it was a good quality model and fun to build.

As far as I know Eduard has 2 "lines" of models, the "weekend edition" and the "ProfiPack edition" that has higher detailing, and is perhaps a bit more expensive.
This model is a weekend edition and only cost me 12.5€ in my local model shop here in Portugal....from what I see in the store website most of their 1/72 plane models fluctuate between 13 and 20 euro, so they aren't that premium.

I got a few Eduard kits. The Profipack ones. They are a little more expensive, but not by a ridiculous amount. I think they're well worth the extra.
