A suggestion for subsims : to add SILENT HUNTER 1 COMMANDER EDITION in the possible threads of the forum
These years, I played only SH in basic version, but recently I founded a complete & playable version of SILENT HUNTER COMMANDER EDITION (That includes the 3 patrol disk contents and mission editor + saving game function).
This version is a "pre-installed version" that works with included
dos-box on all windows versions : player has just to click on a shortcut and the game runs perfectly in full screen (alt+ enter key).
So, I searched on the web all stuffs, utilities, mods, tools, documentations, scenarios, etc concerning Silent hunter 1 & SH Commander edition, and I have now a large pack of various stuff and scenarios files (included files I downloaded on subsim here)
Lot of sub captains love Silent Hunter 1, this old game could have a new life.
I never founded a place to buy SH Commander edition on the web (in this case, I would have bougth it) excepted some players that have old CD of the game.
Players ask for it on GOG Games, but at this time, only Silent Hunter III is awailable
