FYI, we've been targeted by spammers, I am turning on post moderation for registered users. This means the posts will be qued to be approved before they become visible. This gives me a chance to stop the spam before it is posted. Some Overlords, and other SUBscribers may not be affected.

It's a temporary measure, sorry for the inconvenience.

When looking at the date these spammers have joined I see older days-Like 2019.
However it made me remember something important.

Some month ago when I logged on Subsim a pop-up warning came that I should change code because something with breach.
So I changed my code as a safety thing.

Most of the spam seemed to have some of the same key words in the thread titles. Words which regular posters never use. Would it be possible to filter out threads containing these words - even just for a short time?

Just a thought.

Ok, made some changes to the usergroup & db permissions. It's not a bullet proof shield but it should (hopefully) deflect 99%.

I have a question about these date where people join us.

Can you alter these-so instead of Jan 2023 you alter it to Sep 2020 instead ?
So members here think the person joined Sep 2020.

If not-Well then I would recommend you to take contact to members like STEED, Betonov, Gerald, a.s.o and say they shall change logon code asap.
