I loved SH4 and played it for years on an old Mac Pro with Boot Camp and Windows XP or Vista. That machine is long since dead and even though I have a fistful of old Macs lying around, none of them are old enough to load Mac OS 10.5 with a version of Boot Camp old enough to run Windows XP or Vista. I now have a MacBook Pro with the M1 Max chip, along with several old Intel based macBook Pros. I have made attempts at Parallels and Crossover, but have at most gotten a tiny screen window, large enough to display the red dot for closing the window and twice as high, in other words, nothing. Any suggestions on how someone can play this fantastic game, along with the capability of mods in a modern computer environment?

well, firstly, welcome back.

secondly, prior to firstly, you are going to need a license for SH4 Wolves of the Pacific Gold Edition if you want to play with the popular mega-mods such as TMO, FOTRSU, et.al.
