While searching for info about a British sub who manage to sink a carrier in an exercise, I found this page

however, the only Swedish aircraft carrier that was ever identified, by anyone, is Gotland, and it is an island.:doh:

You know I did my military service in the Swedish Navy from 87 to 88.
I was in Carlscrona Naval School-Or in Swedish KÖS for short

The Connie, huh? i missed that detail, however i could not possibly miss the distinctive US-design of the flight deck as well as the parked aircraft. no one but the US flies (or flew) A-6's.
