View Full Version : Can I get external view and still use realistic targeting settings?

I stream occasionally so having an external surface view would be nice. However, I have noticed if I use a setting other than easy, it goes away. Is there a work around for this?

On the Main menu, click on Options, and then Gameplay Settings. You'll see choices for "No event camera" and "No external camera". Clear the tick boxes to be able to see outside. The Event Camera is what you see torpedo launches or aiplanes diving on your boat with. Those particular options apply for Quick (single missions) and the Patrols and sub school. If you are in a career, when you get to the Captain's Office and are at the desk, look to the left and click on the wooden radio console. That will give you another similar menu to make choices on. Each career you start has those settings. :salute:

That only works in the single missions or war patrols. However, this is not available in the fleet boat campaigns which is what I use the most.
