View Full Version : Out for a while, any mod recommendations?

So I've been out for years, came back after playing uboat and finding the gameplay didn't scratch that itch well enough. So wanted to boot up SHIII with mods but since I haven't kept up, wanted to ask if anyone can recommend or let me know what's changed.

I'm guessing GWX mod is the way to go, like last time, but if you have other opinions, I'd like to hear them.

Get OneAlex 1.52. Why? He has layered in correctly every advance in SH3 since 2005-2022.

NOTE: This includes in the entire game. So, some might consider this piracy (I own the entire SH series and paid already). But that is part of the beauty of it; you will never find a better out of the box experience.


* I doubt Alex worries about law suits as he is in Ukraine, and staying alive would seem a higher priority. Language support: English subtitles and voice in German.
