Do Lifeguard Missions Ever End?

Hello Everyone,

I've played SH4 on and off almost since it came out. I've just been assigned to my first lifeguard mission. The question I cannot find an answer to in all the posts I've read about them is, do they ever end? I've picked up so many survivors that my sub is well over capacity for the amount of humans that can be shoved into this can. How long do I have to keep doing this?

need a bit more info:

which version of SH4 are you using? (1.2, 1.4, 1.5)
what is your mod list? assuming you are using JSGME, launch it, go to Tasks-Export-To Clipboard, and then paste (ctrl+v) that into a reply here.
some details about your career:
what boat are you driving?
what is the date-range of your career/mission?
what area is your LG mission (Solomons, Philippines, IWO, etc)
