Returning to SHV

Hey everyone

I'm returning to SHV after a pretty long absence. Trying to get the game to run, and have found that I can no longer do so using steam servers, and have found the video to play using Ubisoft Connect, and I have that set up and have logged in, but can't get past the splash screen and into my game content.

I have seen that Ubisoft Connect had an "update" to try and use, and I attempted to do that from the UC server, and kept getting the "update failed" message, and the UC server told me to uninstall the game and re-install, I am doing that...

After I get the game working, will there be issues with installing Wolves of Steel?

So far, I haven't been able to get past the opening movie, with or without Mods working, and I'm thinking there is some sort of issue, because the opening movie has no sound.....

Also, is there a key to press to escape from said opening movie? I haven't been able to get that working either, if there is.

The "Esc"-key should work to stop the opening movie, but it seems that's the least of your troubles, as this movie should also have sound playing...

Can't help in any way, I am late to the party and just purchased and installed SH 5 - today... :o
