I doubt that. Even though we are going through a big of a QB crisis at the moment. The third stringer looked pretty good though! :o

ET2SN

It isn't really a QB crisis. Its more like "shades of Bledsoe" where the off. line needs to get in synch with the QB, whoever that may be.

This season may be over (for all practical intents) but next year should be better. :arrgh!:

Our soft run defense did not help. Though the Rodgers pick six and Doubs drop in the end zone hurt as well. But that's the NFL, any given Sunday & who knows what could happen

Our third string QB showed a couple flashes of competence early on after our starter bombed (again) but our Defense just could not stop Chicago from marching up the field pretty much at will. :nope:

I was a tiny bit off Da Bears won with 33-14 and not as I wrote 34-10.

I made a search to read more about the match seen from the New England point of view and the author in this article is correct. Well after having read your comment, they must correct certain things before next match.

It's sometimes better to lose a match then winning one-'cause when you win you do not see the problems-while a losing opens the eye.

You should send a thank you to Chicago Bears. Why!? They have shown you which problems you have in the defence and with your QB.

Tell you a story about the Swedish soccer team-They had played 3 test matches out of 4 before leaving Sweden for playing in World Cup.

They won all of these 3 matches-Sweden saw them self to be unbeatable-Then they meet Denmark in the last test match-Sweden was beaten thoroughly 6-0. Day after you could read in the Swedish newspaper Tack for läxan=Thank you for the lesson.

We are in the beginning of the 22-23 season, so it's better to lose matches at start to learn where ones problem lay.

That's how I see it.

Watching the Munich game I can only say: NFL commentators should not try to speak German. Oh, and whenever you use a dictionary: don't take the first entry without reading the rest.

(No, a touchdown in football is not a "Landung" in German, "Landung" is the touchdown of an aircraft on a runway).

I have nothing against commercial heck some of them are funny. It's the interruption in the game-Like there can be up to 4 of them in a quarter.

Before, between and after is ok, but not during. The next World cup in Football will be with several interruption during gameplay.

I‘ve been following American Football for more than 30 years, and have been a Patriots fan since then (I became a fan after the infamous „Rod Rust“-Season, in which the Patriots went 1-15). A PE teacher introduced me (and my classmates) to the sport, and as I never liked soccer (too boring) I was interested from the start.
I played American Football in a club team (American Football in Germany is played in a league system) for about 10 years and even went into refereeing for a few years, before my work schedule made both things impossible.
I unfortunately couldn‘t get any tickets for the game in Munich, but I‘ve been to three games in London in the past. So yes, I definitely like American Football.

I watched the Olympics Hockey Tournaments. Of course, Russia and Canada are always well represented along with the Czech Republic and Sweden. The U.S and other countries as well. What surprised me was how well Germany and South Korea played. I wasn't aware that Hockey was a sport they enjoyed or played there. They both played well, especially Germany. The German team was very tenacious. I enjoyed watching the Olympic Hockey Tournaments, especially how the well the Women Hockey players did from all over the world.

The American football club Copenhagen Tomahawks is changing its name to Copenhagen(Not decided yet). They fear woke activists will come after them for paying

Heart Attack. Not sure if it was related to the preceding play though.

Although, it's a bit premature to assume anything, those physicians connected with the care of Damar Hamlin have stated it wasn't a heart attack that took Damar down. They instead believe that his condition is connected with the impact to his chest, over his heart from a collision with wide receiver Tee Higgins.

This trauma is known as commotio cordis and is among the possible culprits. Commotio Cordis occurs when a severe blow to the chest causes the heartbeat to quiver, leading to sudden cardiac arrest. Commotio cordis is ventricular fibrillation precipitated by blunt trauma to the heart.

A Myocardial infarction or heart attack (MI) refers to tissue death of the heart muscle caused by Ischaemia, the lack of oxygen delivery to myocardial tissue generally caused by blockages and or plaque which in turn slow down or stop the flow of oxygenated blood.

Both Commotio Cordis ( Cardiac Arrest ) and a heart attack can deprive the body of oxygenation of tissue although by different mechanisms.

It has yet to be determined if Demar has a previously unknown and or undetected genetic abnormality or Injury with regards to his heart. That can all be diagnosed at a later date as Demar remains in critical condition. The next 12-24 hours is critical in his long term recovery prognosis. Right now, all efforts should be expended in keeping this young man alive which I'm sure is being done.

* As a side note, everyone should learn and know CPR. You may one day save a life with knowing CPR. My certification was renewed last year and I may do a refresher in the spring after this episode with Demar Hamlin.

Just a quick update to the unfortunate Demar Hamlin situation. Demar is said to be improving and the vent that he is on is providing 50% of his breathing. When Demar was brought into the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, His breathing was provided 100% by a ventilator.

Demar is said to be sedated and resting comfortably. Demar's progress is encouraging.

Thoughts and prayers his way for his continued recovery.

* Edit. The University of Cincinnati Medical Center gave an update on the condition of Demar Hamlin. The medical center said that Demar is making rapid progress and is conscious. They also said that initial indicators are that Demar's mental faculties are intact, indicating his brain didn't suffer from lack of oxygenation. The medical center gave no information on Demar's release or when from their care.

Demar is still intubated and on a ventilator, so he hasn’t been able to speak, but he’s been writing questions with a pen and paper. One of the first things Demar Hamlin wanted to know? Who won the Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals football game. :haha:

Some people's kids. :yep: :haha:

I'm Happy that Demar is on the mend. :yep:

And please, Tom Brady, for your own sake: stick to that decision this time.

Found this today. Coolest one imo is Vrabels 10 TD's. He only had 10 receptions total and only ten yards after catch. Amazing stats for a Linebacker.

He is SO PROUD, one of my best friend from Denmark.

Why!? His eldest grandson has signed a 4 years contract with

Virginia Union University.

His name is Mathias Nielsen.

He is the first European to sign a contract with this university.
(If I got it right)

As I said to my friend-If he play well and some of the scout from other NFL teams are there...who knows what may happen.

Didn't Vrabel only play offense in goal line situations? That's where he got his 10 TDs.

There was a special play just for him.

The NFL struck an agreement with DAZN for the international (non-US/non-Canadian) market. NFL Gamepass will be streamed by DAZN for the next ten yerars.

That basically destroys Gamepass, DAZN is ****e (and that's the most positive thing I can say about them). Additionally it will also become more expensive.

Yeah, great, more money for a worse service...

You don't know it, but you are the strongest part in this-Which they also know so they do anything to prevent a massive boykot of NFL matches who are broadcasted on TV or stream.

It's totally impossible, but if millions didn't see these NFL-matches on TV or Stream..They will be very very nervous.

I myself has since some years back boykot it-Done this due to all the commercial break.

I want to see the game live. Don't wanna record it and fast speed past the commercial.

I have absolutely nothing against commercial breaks-It's the breaks during the play I'm against.

It's not about commercials. DAZN is a ****ty service which is prone to not functioning properly. I used it for a single season a few years back and didn't have a single sunday with uninterrupted NFL-streams, there were always problems.

Sorry for misunderstanding your comment.

One could hope they have improved since last time.

Michael Keaton for Batman, ftw.:Kaleun_Thumbs_Up:
If Rick Spielman was still GM for the vikes, I wonder which broken down has been of a QB, he would give away the World to pick up?

Not sure if Lunchmeat #12 is broken down enough?

Is Terry Bradshaw available? He won four Superbowls.
Johnny Football was pretty hot in college, maybe that talent will transfer? We can overlook the drama.

Now that the CHOP Seachicken's "Legion of Boom" has gone the way of the dodo, we could get Peyton Manning? Omaha that steak!
