A real masterpiece

Is it 1/48 or 1/72 ? It isn't 1/35 that I can see.

Speaking of brush painting, are any of you using Retarder (aka Leveling Agent aka Fish Eye Remover) when painting with a brush?

I've just started to play around with it using Tamiya acrylics. Its supposed to be used when brush painting large surfaces vs detail painting. The idea is that the retarder slows down the drying process slightly, allowing the paint to flow a bit and settle with fewer brush marks.

If you're already using it, how much do you use? I think the ideal ratio with acrylics is something like one drop of Retarder to 20 drops of paint? Would a very thin coat of Retarder applied just before the paint make any difference? :hmmm:

I love the detail around the smaller machine gun turret.

Super well done. New to the forums and would like to try
some submarine model building.

The Mk III looks great :o!
